CrimeTek Security currently provides contracted guard services for the U.S. Government. Officers working these sites are highly trained and well equipped. These officers are apart of CrimeTek’s Special Services Division. Officers who are apart of this division undergo intense firearm and security training.

CrimeTek Security only employs those officers capable of doing the job. When providing security for electronic companies and plant factories, officers are called upon to answer phones provide access control and maintain inventory of merchandise, equipment and parts. CrimeTek fully understands the need for an effective security officer and that is why training in these areas is a top concern.

CrimeTek has State qualified Weigh Masters who can be used to ensure proper load requirements are met on a daily basis. Officers who fulfill this requirement are computer literate and have a strong working knowledge of the transportation requirements set forth by the state.

Depending on the need, CrimeTek Security can install a Wand or Detex system used to monitor patrols. The Wand or Detex System is highly effective when there is a need for timed documentation. Timed checks of temperature gauges and fire risers help eliminate disasters from occurring. Hourly time stamped foot patrols of areas that are susceptible to fire, flooding or breakage allow management the ability to make sure patrols are being performed as required.

CrimeTek Security Services can help provide a secure environment for your tenants and guests. We provide Standing Post Security and Vehicle Patrols for apartment complexes through out the Northern California Region.

Officers patrolling the complex will document all incidents, suspicious activity and property conditions. Apartment complex management will receive a written report daily as well as a photo of damages or hazards that may have happen during the night time hours. CrimeTek Officers will make sure calls are placed to maintenance personnel in the event emergencies occur.

While officers are on duty they will lock and un-lock all doors and gates indicated in their post orders. Officers will handle all towing concerns and citations for parking violators during their shift.

When tenants find it hard to follow rules and regulations set forth by apartment complex management, CrimeTek officers will initiate incident and informational reports on problem tenants. We often find that thoroughly documenting occurrences brought on by problem tenants allows the manager to have much more control when eviction proceedings are inevitable.

CrimeTek provides a 24-hour security service for neighborhood communities covering various types of properties. Our qualified staff of experts with outstanding credentials in law enforcement, security management and business management have combined their years of experience and resources to provide our clients with the most effective security patrol techniques in the protection industry.

The main objective of the community patrol program is to provide security to homeowners throughout the community as well as to protect property. Patrol officer presence in the community is intended to have a deterrent effect on vandalism and crime. Their actions are in no way repressive, but rather are oriented toward helping residents in need and encouraging people to feel safe within there own homes. Residents of the community patrol areas are encouraged to get to know their Community Patrol Officer. They should also let the officer know about any problems or concerns they may have about their community.

CrimeTek utilizes clearly marked police styled patrol vehicles. Our portable and mobile radios permit officers to be in constant communication with each other and with dispatch. Patrol officers mainly cover residential areas of the community and are geared to respond no matter the need. Their most invaluable role is undoubtedly keeping close watch over school children, when waiting for the school bus or playing outdoors.

CrimeTek is a licensed and fully insured community patrol operator. All patrol officers are trained and are certified by the State of California. Due to CrimeTek’s excellent benefits and salaries, CrimeTek generates the cream of the crop in security personnel. All patrol officers are fingerprinted and undergo a strict background check and pre-employment oral board. New officers also undergo the following training:

CrimeTek Security currently provides protection services for banks within the Northern California Region. Officers working these facilities are highly visible and trained to know what to look for when patrolling interior and exterior portions of the bank. Officers working these sites always are equipped with portable two-way radios and are monitored frequently.

When CrimeTek officers are on site they will do their best to keep people from entering the construction zone. Our experience has shown us that active enforcement of trespassing laws deters lawsuits, vandalism and theft

For insurance purposes we don’t allow people to walk onto the unfinished property unless the client approves it. We have characterized through experience that there are four elements that aid in the loss of time and money in the construction arena.

Homebuyers
For insurance purposes we don’t allow new homebuyers to walk onto the unfinished property unless the client gives us approval. Aside from the far too familiar term “Sidewalk Superintendent” who scrutinizes the contractor’s work always insisting that something is wrong causing the contractor to lose time by tending to the complaint. Homebuyers will sometimes notice scratches or damage to portions of the home or fixtures and rather than having the contractor fix the damage the homebuyer will destroy the item causing the builder to replace it.

Criminals
The criminal is an opportunist who will seize the opportunity to steal when given the chance. Opportunists such as these would rather attempt to steal from an unsecured site rather than run the risk of being spotted or captured by a security officer watching the property.

Children
Although Vandalism, Malicious Mischief and Graffiti can be serious, children offer a greater risk to the contractor by playing at a construction site. Children walking onto a construction site risk the chance of injury or death. Injuries sustained at the construction site almost always cause civil litigation. As you know lawsuits can be time consuming and frustrating while causing an increase in insurance rates.

Internal / Employee Theft
The supervising engineer for one of the largest construction companies in the state recently stated, "Over 70% of all of our site losses are the direct result of employee theft."

According to the New York Times "most employers estimate that about 72% of their shrinkage is employee related."

Aside from theft of machinery, tools and other equipment, acommon construction theft scenario may go as follows:

An employee takes a side job that requires the same material found at the construction site where he or she is employed. Tempted to cut costs, the employee takes what is needed and leaves the site.

With deadlines and anxious property owners hanging in the balance, a good security program plays an active role in lessening the time and money it takes to deal with: Vandalism, Injury and Theft.

CrimeTek Security has both armed and unarmed guards available. We provide roving guards, parking lot patrols, and standing post guards to provide the best in shopping center security.

Roving Guards serve as backup officers and provide support by monitoring other officers. Roving officers are placed when and where needed.

Parking Lot Patrol serves as a strong theft deterrent and provides safety for children and adults. In many cases, parking lot patrols prevent serious crimes from occurring

Standing Post Guards are stationed at specific locations. Standing Post Guards can monitor customer and worker activity, check ID cards as well as check receipts
