If you have been convicted of a crime, a temporary registration cannot be issued to you and you cannot be assigned to guard duties until you receive a permanent registration card from the licensing division. (B&P Code 7583.11 (b) CrimeTek requires that all employees pass a background investigation before they will be approved for employment. Background checks are conducted for all applicants.
